We provide a comprehensive service for children which includes:-
A Full and Comprehensive Assessment followed by
a detailed report outlining our diagnosis and recommendations for
therapy.
The format and time-scale for administering the assessment will
be in one of these ways:
| 1 |
During the initial appointment session. If the
assessment cannot be completed during the initial appointment
a follow-up session will be arranged. |
| or |
|
| 2 |
On an ongoing informal basis during your child's regular therapy
sessions. This may be particularly relevant for children attending
Say and Play and/or for those who have recently had an assessment
elsewhere. |
| If attending Say and Play your child's
therapist may make an additional appointment to carry out a
formal assessment of your child as this cannot always be carried
out during the regular group sessions.
Following the initial appointment, the type of therapy that
is felt to be most beneficial for your child will be offered.
This may be individual or group; regular, intermittent or
intensive. A detailed report outlining findings and giving
recommendations is provided following assessments.
